Kazuha is a gentle guy and I think Xiao needs that more than most things given his history 🥺 It would be so nice and sweet if Xiao had a partner like Kazuha who is also very attuned to the elements to the point of maybe even sensing his karmic debt and being able to help him with it. I think Kazuha would also have a fun time helping with hilichurl extermination.
I think they would pass time together incredibly well, considering they both love being in nature so much and have a lot of patience in highly stressful situations where I think anyone else would be running around screaming like a chicken with its head cut off 😂

Incredibly amazing love it will never stop eating this shit up. I love Yanqing's endless desire to do more, become even more capable, and prove to Jing Yuan that he IS the one who will become the next Sword Champion. He's very hardworking and I think Jing Yuan takes a lot of pride in seeing how much he's grown.
Aventurine is Just A Little Guy (who sometimes likes to gamble with his life. It's fine.) and Jing Yuan is a casual chess enjoyer. This is literal but also, so intersestingly enough, a metaphor for how they approach life. I think Aventurine could do with being a little more like Jing Yuan in the way he approaches the value of his own life, and opportuntities to see those perspectives clashing would be so interesting.

These two losers have been my OTP for several years, and no, I will not shut up about it.
In the beginning, I definitely had sound, logical reasoning for why they should be together: Being abandoned, losing your family + experiencing trauma, not letting people get too close, sabotaging yourself, living life as an artificial being.
A lot of potential naturally comes with shipping Scaramouche with anyone because you could approach it from any number of angles, and although recently my favorite has been Wanderer in his Sumeru era, I also love Harbinger Scara and the Kabukimono. I also really love ideas that fold in Irminsul and Wanderer's past when writing an established relationship with Xiao. (After all, a good boyfriend would tell his beloved about his very complicated history at some point, right?)

Heizou plans to take a little vacation to Fontaine to get his mind off work but he winds up at the center of a crime and who other than Lyney winds up standing at his shoulder determined to either help him solve it or competing to get to the solution first.Previous idea but that's actually how their relationship is with everything, and they have grand time incorporating their deductive skills into everyday interactions like guessing what the other is planning to make for dinner or where they're going for date night.A kismet kind of relationship where Heizou and Lyney already click upon first meeting and it's instantly them drowning each other in quick-witted statements and endless flirting.
Kazuha/Xiao

Xiao and Kazuha meet while teaming up to kill Hilichurls; Xiao discovers that Kazuha is more than capable of dealing with them on his own and, embarrassingly, it's Xiao who winds up needing a little extra help with his health after. Kazuha invites him to dinner to fix this.Established relationship Kazuha and Xiao write letters to each other all the time. Despite logistic difficulties, one decides to try his hardest to surprise the other with an unplanned visit to cheer him up after some tough days.

(In a time when withering zones are still around) Kazuha's in Sumeru getting his ass kicked by rift hounds in a withering zone after going too deep into the forest for too long and Tighnari sweeps in to help him (Plus if he's dehydrated and has to be nursed to well again!)Tighnari/Kazuha meet during an annual holiday (Sabzeruz Festival, or even Windblume from when Nari visited) and they wind up having a great time hanging out togetherKazuha is Tighnari's Cool Boyfriend that the forest rangers are convinced must be made-up because they've never seen him. But then Kazuha visits and he's a handsome badass who is an outdoors pro. Everyone is impressed. Cue the humble bragging.

Jing Yuan/Yanqing
Incredibly amazing love it will never stop eating this shit up. I love Yanqing's endless desire to do more, become even more capable, and prove to Jing Yuan that he IS the one who will become the next Sword Champion. I am, naturally, so down to kink out about age gap/difference. Like, what better way could there possibly be to reward your pupil (who is probably going through some intense puberty that makes him feel all pent up) than by rewarding him when he does so well in sparring sessions??As Yanqing ages, their dynamic changes, and it's something Jing Yuan has been waiting for for a long time. A take on one fell first/other fell harder where Yanqing wakes up one morning and realizes he's been fostering a deeper love than he thought for Jing Yuan for A Long Time and has to find out how to face those feelings.I'm so incredibly intrigued by passing mentions of JY and Y in warzones together and the combat they've been through together. It sounds just so incredibly sensual and intimate in its own ways to go through that experience with someone else!
Aventurine/Jing Yuan

The IPC sends Aventurine to the Luofu for some sort of routine check but Jing Yuan doesn't even try to make Aventurine's job difficult for him— mainly brushing him off or inviting him to dinner and tea instead of conversations in the war room. While Aventurine initially came expecting more resistance, he winds up feeling a little spoiled and enjoys JY's company a lot.Aventurine's shamelessly curious about Jing Yuan and takes an opportunity to get closer to him after knowing vaguely about him for a long time. What he doesn't realize is that Jing Yuan's felt the same, and things spiral quickly from there.

Xiao and Scaramouche were a sort-of thing before Scara tried to erase himself from Teyvat's history. Now as Wanderer, he wants to try and mend their relationship. The only problem? Xiao doesn't recognize him.Wanderer's on break from a school season in Sumeru and spends time hanging out with Xiao. Xiao's not against it, although it's definitely a change in pace from the usual.Any sort of fic reflecting on the ways they're different or similar, either as an established relationship or somehow rotating each other's lives. I would especially love anything with Wanderer/Scara/Kabukimono being a little shit and how Xiao feels about that!Nahida and Zhongli act as wingmen and somehow find a way to smush their two angsty anemo boys together, possibly by bringing them along for (admittedly) necessary Archong Things with them as bodyguards.
